Back Cover Blurb:
Released on bail, born-again drug dealer Cindy McDuffie, has three months of freedom before facing judgment for her crimes. When God gives her the love of a good man, will she embrace a short life with her own superhero? Or will guilt and feelings of inferiority steal her blessings?
Attorney Cole Maxwell waited twenty-eight years to meet his promised wife from God. Racing against the clock, can he convince Cindy to sail into the clouds? Or will the women plotting his future, and the men haunting her past shipwreck his dreams?
Can their Savior use a judge’s gavel and a child’s hunger to chart them on the right course? Or will life’s storms drive the promises of God beyond their reach?
My review:
Bridgett is an excellent author. The writing in this book is solid, engaging, and tight; drawing in her readers. It was hard to put the book down once I started it. While heartbreaking at times, "Whatever It Takes" is full of hope, joy, and the fulfillment of God's promises to His children. I wasn't a huge fan of the ending, but I could see how it all tied into the theme. I loved the sweet romance and especially the worship scenes between the characters and God. They gave me goosebumps. :) I'm looking forward to going back and reading the first book of the series, as well as the next one.

About the author:
Bridgett Henson was raised in the Deep South by a Baptist mother and a Mormon father. During her teen years, she abandoned the Christian faith altogether. Now, she and her husband minister to a small Methodist church, while holding membership in a local Pentecostal assembly where they raise their three children. When she’s not writing fiction for all denominations, she attends short mission trips, youth conferences, rallies, and summer camps. Bridgett has a special burden for the youth of today, especially those bound by sex, drugs, and alcohol. She often speaks to those recovering from these addictions. She hopes that her readers will come to know the God who created and loves them, understand the merciful grace found in the blood of Jesus Christ, and be introduced to the sustaining power of the Holy Ghost.
