I'm So Sorry!

9/25/2012

I would like to start this post by saying that I am so sorry that it has been almost a month since my last post. We had 17 shows across 3 different states during that time, plus a nasty cold, a sick puppy, and a dead iPhone, but please accept my humblest of apologies. (Btw, everything worked out just fine; God has been taking care of us amazingly this month.)

I hope everyone is doing well this week. We met many new friends and reunited with old
ones during these past few weeks. And we had some great shows to boot. :) As I am writing this, we are driving through Ohio on our way to Berea, Kentucky, which is almost 300 miles away. We will spend the night there tonight and then depart in the morning to Adairsville, GA, which is another 200 miles before we finally park for a while in Sautee, GA on Thursday. It will be nice to be home for a week or two. :) We will be picking up Mom and Dad’s bus in Berea (Yay for the extra space!), so Michelle will be driving that tomorrow. Dad will be driving the old bus and Mom will be driving the van and trailer. As always, your prayers for safety during our travels are both requested and appreciated.

Even in the midst of all the craziness of the past few weeks, I have made substantial progress on the new book and have finally begun to hope that I might actually reach my November deadline. (Iwasn’t sure there for a while. LOL) If all goes as planned, I can wrap it all up in the next 2 weeks. After that, we start the editing process, which will
probably take most of October.

Again, I really appreciate all the prayers about finishing the book. James 5:16b says “The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” So there you have it; you prayer warriors out there are my lifesavers. :) Another issue has been weighing on my mind lately, so I hope you don’t mind me sharing it. If you would also pray that God would provide the funds to publish this book, I would be so grateful. Between the cover design, ISBN numbers, editing fees, and production costs, self-publishing can quickly get expensive. However, God provided for the first book when I needed it. I have no doubts that He will provide for the next one, but praying never hurts, does it? :)

Well, that’s all I can think to add to write for this post. Lord willing, I will have a preview of the cover ready for next week’s post! I can’t wait for you all to see it... We aren’t done with the edits yet, but I love it already!

Have a great week and I will see y’all next time. God bless and keep you until then!
