My Thoughts:
This novel was lots of things: beautiful, heartbreaking, painful, suspenseful, hopeful, lovable... And that doesn't even scratch the surface! The author switches back and forth between 2 stories, one set in the past and one set in the present. I found the historical aspects fascinating. The novel had a great pace to it and I had a hard time putting it down. It was a pleasure to read this book and I highly recommend it.
