Chapter 867 245: Aurora and Ian_3
Snape didn't give Harry Potter a chance to refuse.
"I want to be a guinea pig!"
Harry looked at Ian in horror, but the latter just shrugged and continued enjoying his pudding. Then, Snape grabbed Harry Potter by the collar of his robe as if he were a little chick and dragged him towards the door.
"Let go of me!"
Harry Potter's struggle wasn't intense; he just waved his hands aimlessly in the air—after all, being a Slytherin, he lacked the confidence of attending Gryffindor College.
"Good uncle sure knows how to scare people." Ian certainly didn't think Snape was going to harm Harry Potter; he knew Snape simply enjoyed the pleasure of frightening Harry Potter.
"He was quite frightened by you just now."
Aurora wiped the corner of her mouth with a napkin, revealing Ian and Snape's shared twisted humor.
"I was just telling the truth." Ian poured himself a glass of pumpkin juice, the liquid appearing an eerie orange-red in the glass, a sign that the house-elves in the kitchen were up to something innovative again.
"Actually, I was planning to give Snape a surprise." Ian tried to share something about "Lily" with his good friend, but Aurora clearly wasn't too receptive to his kind of humor.
"What was up with the magic this afternoon? That wasn't normal magic." The German girl was more concerned about the creatures she witnessed in the "Spiritual Vision" this afternoon.
"Uh..."
Ian's initially enthusiastic expression suddenly froze.
"Consider it a spontaneous illness?"
He spoke with an uncertain tone.
"?????"
Aurora was full of question marks.
"It's perhaps like you girls having a few days of discomfort every month, all due to internal reasons. Yes, that's right, I also have some unspeakable secrets in that regard." Ian mainly didn't know how to bring up the possibility that he might have once been a bird.
"You..."
Aurora stared at him for a few seconds, then sighed helplessly, "The things you say are getting more and more outrageous. If I didn't know you weren't sick, I'd suggest you go get your brain checked."
She really couldn't understand Ian's abstract metaphors.
"More than that, I'm more curious how you recognized Jormungandr? That's not a creature an ordinary wizard can recognize." Ian attempted to change the subject.
However.
The topic he chose was evidently not very appropriate.
Only to see.
Aurora's eyes fixated on him, her differently colored pupils flashing with dangerous light.
"You owe me a perfect Defense Against the Dark Arts class," she said, word by word, clearly still upset about the teaching accident from this afternoon, "Don't expect me to answer any of your questions until then."
Perhaps the substitution class this afternoon, for Aurora, was indeed a matter that concerned her.
Ian scratched the back of his head.
"Accidents, they're all accidents."
He could only respond with an awkward smile.
"Accidents?" Aurora snorted, stood up and tidied her robe, "Accidents don't cause a third of the classroom to disappear, leaving me to handle the repairs alone."
After she finished speaking.
She put down the dining knife and stood up to leave the hall, her platinum hair fluttering behind her. Ian watched her back, feeling as if his right eyelid was twitching.
"Oh, women!"
Ian could never quite understand the thoughts of the opposite sex. As he watched Aurora's figure gradually disappear, he finally redirected his attention to the food on his plate.
"Ugh, not potatoes! It's ginger!"
The promised curry beef.
Unexpectedly, the house-elves had slipped an assassin in. The little wizard felt like, after provoking Aurora, his luck had immediately taken a downturn.
It seemed similar situations had occurred before.
Not sure if it's just a coincidence.
