As usual, sunlight streamed through the gaps in the curtains early in the morning, bathing Yang Xuexue and Liu Qicheng's cozy little nest in its glow. Yang Xuexue rolled over in bed, her eyes not yet fully open, when a sudden, inexplicable panic jolted her awake. She groggily touched her stomach, and a bold yet heart-pounding thought popped into her head: "Could I be pregnant?"
The thought, once it appeared, lingered in her mind like a tiny bug. She glanced discreetly at Liu Qicheng, who was still fast asleep beside her, carefully climbed out of bed, and tiptoed towards the bathroom.
In the bathroom cabinet, Yang Xuexue pulled out the pregnancy test she had prepared earlier. Her palms were sweaty, and her hand holding the test trembled slightly. She stared at the test, silently praying, "God, please give me a definite answer." The few minutes she waited for the result felt like an eternity. Yang Xuexue paced back and forth in the bathroom, then stared intently at the test, as if doing so would hasten the result.
Finally, two clear red lines appeared on the pregnancy test. Yang Xuexue felt a buzzing in her head—she was pregnant! Staring at the test, she was both surprised and overjoyed, almost crying out. She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down, thinking, "I have to tell Qicheng this good news right away."
Holding the pregnancy test as if it were a priceless treasure, Yang Xuexue hurriedly left the bathroom. She went to the bedside and gently nudged Liu Qicheng, who was still asleep, her voice trembling with excitement: "Qicheng, wake up! I have amazing news to tell you!"
Liu Qicheng was fast asleep when Yang Xuexue nudged him, and he groggily opened his eyes, muttering, "What's wrong, wife? It's not even dawn yet, let me sleep a little longer."

Upon hearing this, Li Yuan and Liu Xuan were first stunned, then their faces instantly lit up with bright smiles. Li Yuan excitedly grabbed Yang Xuexue's hand and said, "Really? Xuexue, you're really pregnant? That's wonderful, wonderful!" As she spoke, her eyes welled up with tears.

Liu Qicheng said, "Dad, Mom, I've thought it through. If we have a boy, we'll name him Liu Junhao, what a handsome name! If we have a girl, we'll name her Liu Shihan, what a poetic name!"
Liu Xuan shook his head after hearing this and said, "This name is too common; you see it everywhere. I think if it's a boy, I'd name him Liu Yifei, meaning free and unrestrained, soaring to the sky; if it's a girl, I'd name her Liu Yuxi, which is gentle and pleasant to hear."
Li Yuan also expressed her opinion: "I think that regardless of whether it's a boy or a girl, their names should include the character '瑞' (rui), which means good fortune. The boy should be named Liu Ruizhe, and the girl should be named Liu Ruixuan."
The three of them argued heatedly, their faces flushed. Yang Xuexue watched them from the side and couldn't help but laugh out loud: "Stop arguing, the baby isn't even born yet. You can think of a name later."
Everyone stopped and smiled at each other. At this moment, Liu Qicheng suddenly remembered that he hadn't called Yang Xuexue's mother yet, so he said to Yang Xuexue, "Honey, let's call Mom right away and make her happy too."

After dinner, Yang Xuexue and Liu Qicheng stayed at their parents' house for a while longer before getting up to say goodbye. Before leaving, Li Yuanqian repeatedly reminded Yang Xuexue to get some rest and to call her anytime if anything happened.
After returning home, Yang Xuexue felt a little tired, so she lay down on the bed to rest. Liu Qicheng sat by the bed, gently stroking Yang Xuexue's belly, and said, "Baby, you have to be good and grow up healthy in Mommy's tummy. When you are born, Daddy will buy you lots and lots of toys."
Looking at Liu Qicheng's serious expression, Yang Xuexue smiled and said, "You're about to become a father, but you're still like a child."
Liu Qicheng looked up at Yang Xuexue and said, "Wife, thank you. You made me the happiest person in the world." As he spoke, he gently kissed Yang Xuexue's forehead.
Yang Xuexue closed her eyes, savoring the happiness. She knew that from this moment on, their lives would undergo a dramatic transformation, but she wasn't afraid at all, because she had Liu Qicheng and a loving home. And this soon-to-be-born little life would bring them even more joy and surprises.
