Chapter 70 Partner
Aze's family.
"Aze~ Aze ah~" Aze's father called out as he came to his room. Seeing that the room was empty, Aze's father raised his voice and called out twice more.
"Oh~ I'm washing up~" Aze's voice drifted out from the bathroom.
"Oh~"
Aze's father agreed, and then, looking at Aze's messy room, went in and skillfully helped Aze tidy up.
As he tidied up, Aze's father looked up and saw a corner of the Go board, next to several medicine bags. He couldn't help but glance back at the bathroom and sighed deeply...
At night, after cleaning up Aze's room, Aze's father came to Phoenix Hall Jewelry Store and started wiping the store with a rag.
"Uncle~ Is Taek back?" Jung-hwan was the first to arrive. He saw Taek's father as soon as he entered the door and asked directly.
"Oh, you're back. But Aze's been acting strangely lately..."
"Aze~~ Big brother's here......."
Before A-Ze's father could finish speaking, Jung-Hwan, upon hearing that A-Ze had returned, jokingly called out and went inside to find A-Ze.
A-Ze's father stared blankly as Jung-hwan went inside, unable to react for a moment...
"Uncle Cui!!"
"Hello!"
"Uncle! I'm here!"
"Is Aze back?"
Deok-sun and Yoo Seo-woo ran in, followed by a baby fish. Deok-sun got straight to the point and asked Taek a question.
“Taek is inside, but…” Taek’s father replied, still wanting to remind them of Taek’s condition, but this time Deok-sun and the other two didn’t wait for him to finish.
The giant salamander started singing right away...
"No further explanation needed..."
Watching Deok-sun and the doll-fish go inside, Liu Shuyu gave Uncle Cui an apologetic look.
"Uncle, it's alright. With everyone here to keep you company, Aze will get over this setback soon~" Liu Shuyu looked at Uncle Cui and comforted him with a smile before following Deok-sun and the others inside.
"I hope so~~" Aze's father muttered worriedly as he watched the three people go in.
Before he could turn around, another door opened.
"Hello~ Uncle! Taek..." Sunwoo greeted with a smile, before he could finish his question.
"Oh! Yes! I've been here since the beginning. You can go in now!"
Even Aze's dad has learned to answer first...
"Okay~"
"Aze~~!"
Sunwoo quickly walked towards Taek's house in the back.
In Aze's room, he had just come out of the bathroom and was drying his hair with a towel. After drying it, he sat down in front of the chessboard with a depressed expression.
"Click~"
The door opened, and A-Ze looked in the direction of the sound to see Jung-Hwan, who was the first to arrive.
"Oh dear! I heard you lost terribly!"
"Impressive, kid!"
"Our alley has lost all face! How are we supposed to face others now?!"
Unlike the adults who advised him to be cautious, Jung-hwan, as usual, let Taek hear his complaints directly. His behavior, so different from the adults', left Taek momentarily stunned.
"Hey~ Taek, how are you!" Jung-hwan had just entered when Deok-sun followed right behind.
"I heard our Aze lost! Oh dear~!" the salamander teased Aze.
"We've come to see you, Aze~" Liu Shuyu said simply. Unlike the others, he wouldn't tease Aze with his words, as he was afraid it would put more pressure on him...
Hey! I heard you broke up with your boyfriend?!
"Oh dear~ it's about time we lost once!"
"It's about time I lost once, isn't it?"
Sunwoo followed closely behind, talking about Taek as he sat down.
"It was my mistake!" Aze's eyes reddened slightly. His group of old friends hadn't changed because of his loss; they were still the same as before, which made Aze almost unable to hold back his tears.
"Oops~ What a ridiculous mistake!"
"How could a genius Go player make a mistake!"
The salamander deliberately provoked Aze with its words, and Aze fell for it, breaking down in tears and shouting loudly.
"Am I destined to only win all the time?!"
The giant salamander nodded.
"You can only keep winning~"
"We can't lose, and we can't have any bad luck either!"
"We can't afford any setbacks!"
"Can't poop... Oh well! I still need to poop, but it can't smell bad~"
After saying that, the giant salamander burst into laughter, which amused Sunwoo and the others standing nearby.
Aze burst into laughter through his tears, never expecting to be tricked by the giant salamander again just when he was about to break down emotionally.
"Hey! Is this the time to laugh?"
"Go ahead and curse! Why not just yell it out loud!"
"Watch closely! Like this!" Jung-hwan looked at Taek and eagerly demonstrated.
"That damn XXX..."
Deok-sun watched in stunned silence; the insults were truly vulgar, and she even frowned slightly...
Liu Shuyu was amused by them. As expected of Jung-hwan, even his attempts to comfort Taek were unconventional...
"Hey! It's your turn, Sunwoo!" Jung-hwan patted Sunwoo on the shoulder.
“XXX is really damn damned!…” Sunwoo was even worse…

"Hurry up! Give it a try!"
"Hey! Aze~!"
The crowd egged on Taek to yell out loud. Deok-sun didn't yell, but she watched Taek's jeers with curiosity, wanting to see what it would be like for the usually gentle and refined Taek to yell.
Liu Shuyu couldn't help but feel envious. Having such a group of friends was truly Aze's happiness!
"That damn XXX!" Aze was still encouraged by everyone and shouted it out. After shouting it out, Aze finally laughed. The depression in his heart had been dispelled by his friends' teasing and encouragement.
"Really~~" Sunwoo laughed so hard at Taek's shout that he couldn't stand up straight and fell to the ground.
"Hey~ you should say it properly~~ haha~"
"Look at this! This damn XXX!!!"
The salamander mocked Aze for not being professional enough in his shouting and cursing.
Deok-sun laughed so hard she almost fell over.
Liu Shuyu smiled and shook his head. Everyone had a good time cursing and laughing today~~~
Seeing Taek laughing so hard he was doubled over, Deok-sun finally got a little excited from the constant cursing in the room. She turned on the TV and started her "zombie" dance to the singer's voice...
As soon as the salamander saw the dancing, it immediately displayed its elegant dance moves and started having a blast!
Liu Shuyu was just quietly watching Deoksun dance when Deoksun noticed him and rushed over to pull him up to dance with her.
Jung-hwan and Sun-woo pulled Taek up from the floor, and the whole room started dancing wildly to the music...
Outside the door, Aze's father had been secretly listening to the sounds coming from inside the room. Only when he heard Aze shouting and cursing, followed by cheerful laughter coming from the music, did Aze's father breathe a deep sigh of relief and quietly leave...
Perhaps, Aze experienced failure, and in the eyes of the adults, he would slowly recover with the passage of time.
