Chapter 10 The Secret of the Forest
In the early morning, the sun shines through the gaps in the leaves onto Li Yunfei and Lin Ya. Li Yunfei wakes up slowly, and a smile appears on his face as he looks at Lin Ya who is still sleeping beside him. He gets up gently, stretches himself, and looks around. A thin layer of mist permeates the forest, making everything seem like a dream. Li Yunfei takes a deep breath, feeling the fresh air here, and feels extremely comfortable.
After a while, Lin Ya also woke up. She saw Li Yunfei standing not far away and said with a smile: "Good morning." Li Yunfei turned around and responded: "Good morning, did you sleep well last night?" Lin Ya nodded: "Yes, very comfortable." The two of them simply packed up and continued to explore the forest. Along the way, Lin Ya introduced to Li Yunfei some secrets that only she knew.
"Look, there are some strange symbols carved on that tree. It is said that they were left by our ancestors a long time ago." Lin Ya pointed to a thick tree and said. Li Yunfei walked closer to observe the symbols carefully, but found that he could not understand them at all. He asked curiously, "What do these symbols mean?" Lin Ya shook her head and said, "I don't know much, but I feel they are very mysterious." They continued to walk forward and came to a clear stream. The stream gurgled and made a pleasant sound. Li Yunfei squatted down, scooped up a handful of water with his hands, and washed his face.
"Wow, so cool." Li Yunfei exclaimed. Lin Ya smiled and said, "This stream water is very clean, you can drink it directly." Li Yunfei listened and took a sip. It was indeed sweet and delicious.
"Very good." Li Yunfei praised.
At this moment, Lin Ya seemed to have discovered something, and her face suddenly changed. Li Yunfei noticed her strangeness and asked quickly, "What's wrong?" Lin Ya frowned and said, "I feel something is wrong with this forest, as if something is stirring." Li Yunfei's heart tightened, and he looked around vigilantly, "Could it be that the weird guy is back again?" Lin Ya shook her head, "No, it's a very strange feeling, I can't explain it."
They stood up and walked forward cautiously. The further they went, the stronger the strange feeling became. Li Yunfei held the sword tightly, ready to deal with any possible danger. Suddenly, a low roar came from the front.
"What is that?" Li Yunfei asked in a low voice. Lin Ya's face became more solemn: "I don't know, let's go and have a look." They quickened their pace and walked in the direction of the sound. When they passed through a dense forest, the scene in front of them stunned them.
A huge cave appeared in front of them. A strange light flashed in the cave, and the roar came from the cave. Li Yunfei and Lin Ya looked at each other, and saw shock and curiosity in each other's eyes.
"Should we go in and take a look?" Li Yunfei asked softly. Lin Ya hesitated for a moment, but finally nodded: "Well, maybe there is a secret of the forest hidden in here."
Li Yunfei took a deep breath, gripped his sword tightly, and walked in front. Lin Ya followed closely behind, and the two walked towards the cave step by step. As they approached, the roar became louder and louder, and the light became more dazzling. When they finally walked into the cave, a powerful force rushed over them, making them almost unstable. Li Yunfei tried to stabilize his body, and took a closer look. He saw that the walls of the cave were engraved with various mysterious patterns and runes, and the light was emitted from these patterns and runes.
"This...what is this?" Li Yunfei asked in surprise.
Lin Ya also looked bewildered: "I don't know either. I have never seen such a scene before."
They walked cautiously in the cave, carefully observing everything around them. Suddenly, there was a more violent vibration from the depths of the cave, and then a huge light shot up into the sky, illuminating the entire cave. Li Yunfei and Lin Ya closed their eyes because of the sudden light, and when they opened their eyes again, they found themselves in a strange space.
The space was filled with colorful light, and the surrounding scene became blurred. Li Yunfei and Lin Ya looked around in horror, not knowing what was going on.
"Where is this? How did we get here?" Li Yunfei asked anxiously.
Lin Ya also looked at a loss: "I don't know, we seem to have entered a mysterious realm."
They groped their way forward in this strange space, their hearts filled with fear and doubt...
