Chapter 141 Gin, come and clean the floor!

Chen Shuo slowly descended the stairs, each step calm and graceful, as if completely oblivious to the sniper before him. His gaze was as calm as a lake, yet it held an irresistible pressure. The sniper standing in the corner was covered in wounds and in a state of disarray, but when his gaze met Chen Shuo's, a glint of frenzied murderous intent suddenly flashed in his eyes.

"Go to hell, Wuchen!" the sniper growled, and suddenly, like magic, he pulled out a pistol from his right hand with incredible speed. As Sonoko and Mao Lilan stared in astonishment, he quickly pointed the gun at Chen Shuo and pulled the trigger without hesitation.

"boom!"

The gunshot was particularly piercing in the silent villa. Ran and Sonoko's hearts tensed, and just as they were about to react, they saw the sniper's movements suddenly pause, and the pistol fell out of his hand with a crisp thud. He groaned, clutching his right hand, blood oozing from between his fingers, and collapsed to his knees as if losing support.

In Chen Shuo's hand, a Remington 1875 was puffing lightly with smoke. His movements were incredibly swift, and he had clearly seen through the sniper's actions. He put away the pistol in a clean and neat motion, his expression remaining calm. His tone was calm, almost ruthless: "He looks like a crazy guy."

Sonoko finally reacted, a trace of fear on her face that quickly turned to anger. Her gaze was like a knife, a cold glint flashing as she raised the Glock 19 in her hand, pointing the muzzle directly at the sniper's head. Her tone was icy, "Damn bastard, I almost let you succeed! Go to hell!"

Just as she was about to pull the trigger, Chen Shuo raised his hand to stop her and said calmly, "Wait."

"There are some things I want to ask." He slowly walked up to the sniper, looking down at the man kneeling on the ground. His voice was low but carried a hint of oppression: "Who are you? Why do you want to kill me?"

The sniper clutched his injured hand, his face pale and his forehead covered in sweat. Even so, his eyes still held a trace of resentment and madness, and he growled through gritted teeth, "Ha... You're a coward who only knows how to hide behind a woman. You'll never get anything out of me!"

Chen Shuo narrowed his eyes slightly, a faint smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, and his tone was calm and cold: "Really? Then let's give it a try."

Chen Shuo turned his head and looked at Huihara Ai, who was slowly walking down the stairs. She was holding a syringe in her hand, and the liquid inside the syringe had a light blue sheen, which made her expression even more cold and ruthless.

"Are you ready?" Chen Shuo asked, without a trace of fluctuation in his tone, as if what was about to happen had nothing to do with him.

Huibara Ai nodded expressionlessly, her voice calm and clear: "I prepared it myself. The effect is stronger than the FBI's medicine, but... after the injection, he might become an idiot."

Chen Shuo shrugged, a faint smile on his face: "It doesn't matter."

Ai Huihara walked up to the sniper and stared at him coldly. The man was now kneeling on the ground, sweat on his forehead. Although he was under control, his eyes still held a hint of stubbornness and unwillingness.

Ai Haibara turned to look at Sonoko and Mao Lilan, her tone still calm: "Control him, it's best to disable him to avoid trouble."

As soon as he finished speaking, Sonoko raised the Glock 19 without hesitation and fired two shots at the sniper's legs.

"Bang! Bang!"

Blood splattered, and the sniper's legs lost their support, and he fell heavily to his knees. His face turned pale, and veins bulged on his forehead, but he gritted his teeth and remained silent.

At the same time, Mao Lilan took a step forward, and with smooth and decisive movements, she grabbed the sniper's right arm and twisted it hard.

"Crack!"

The sound of bones breaking rang out clearly, and the sniper's left arm was broken in the same way by her hands. His body trembled slightly due to the severe pain, but he still gritted his teeth and persisted without even a scream.

"You're quite tough." Yuanzi sneered, a look of disdain appearing on his face.

However, when the sniper's eyes fell on the needle in Huiyuan Ai's hand, a trace of fear suddenly flashed in his stubborn eyes. Huiyuan Ai's calm expression and indifferent movements gradually overlapped with a figure buried deep in his mind in his memory.

"Sherry..." His voice trembled, as if he couldn't believe what he saw.

This whisper instantly silenced the entire room, and a strange sense of tension filled the air. Everyone present couldn't help but raise their eyebrows.

"Oh?" Chen Shuo raised his eyebrows, his tone tinged with a hint of teasing, "Looks like he's from that organization."

Haibara Ai paused for a moment, raised her eyes, and stared coldly at the sniper. Her expression remained calm, but a hint of complex emotions flashed deep in her eyes.

"Do you know me?" Her voice was light, yet filled with a suffocating coldness.

The corner of the sniper's mouth twitched, as if he wanted to say something, but facing Haibara Ai's cold gaze, his throat seemed to be blocked by something, and in the end he said nothing.

Sonoko looked at this scene and smiled: "It seems that we have gained quite a lot this time. Sherry?"

"Indeed." Haibara Ai said softly, gently turning the needle with her fingers, and added lightly, "But I'm no longer Sherry." Her voice was like a knife, coldly cutting off the shadow of the past.

Then she leaned closer to the sniper, her tone becoming low and dangerous: "Now, tell me your mission and who sent you? If you don't want to taste this thing--" She glanced at the syringe in her hand, her words without a trace of mercy.

The sniper's body shook violently, and the cold sweat on his face became more and more obvious. It was obvious that under this oppressive feeling, his psychological defenses were collapsing, but he still bit his lips tightly and said nothing.

He knelt on the ground, his face filled with pain and stubbornness, his eyes revealing a determination to "die rather than surrender." However, Huiyuan Ai was not shaken by his attitude at all. She sighed softly, her tone revealing helplessness: "Alas... What a hassle."

After saying that, she stabbed the needle into the sniper's neck without hesitation and injected the medicine into him.

"Hiss!" The sniper gasped and seemed to struggle, but with his limbs already restrained, he was powerless. His eyes gradually turned from stubborn to distracted, as if he was trying to resist the effects of the drug.

Ai Haibara casually put the empty syringe back into her tool kit, as if she had just completed an ordinary task.

Mao Lilan, who was standing by, looked at the tool kit in her hand curiously and couldn't help asking, "Xiao Ai, what is this?"

Ai Huibara raised the bag in her hand and spoke casually as if she was chatting about daily life: "Veritaserum. I made it myself, it's not difficult."

"What?!" Sonoko looked at her in horror, her eyes full of shock, "Why would you carry something like this with you? We're just out skiing today!"

Ai Huihara glanced at Sonoko calmly, then her eyes swept over the Glock 19 in her hand. Her tone was calm but with a hint of sarcasm: "Don't you and Xiaolan also carry weapons with you? It's just a hobby."

"This..." Sonoko was speechless for a moment. He looked down at the gun in his hand, then looked at the pair of eagle claw knives of Mao Lilan. He felt something was wrong, but he couldn't say it. He could only hold it in until his face turned red.

Mao Lilan smiled sheepishly and looked away. She glanced at the sniper, who was now completely powerless to resist. With a flick of her wrist, she spun the two blades nimbly between her fingers before steadily putting them away. Her movements were clean, neat, and graceful.

Ai Haibara stood aside, gazing coldly at the sniper, as if observing the effects of a potion. Sonoko, on the other hand, folded her arms across her chest, leaning against the wall. Although she wore a nonchalant expression, her grip on the gun remained tense, clearly not completely relaxed.

Chen Shuo stood there, looking at the sniper quietly. After a moment, he walked towards the other party, leaned down slightly, and locked his eyes on the sniper from above.

The sniper had completely lost his earlier arrogance. His body trembled from the effects of the drug, and beads of sweat streamed down his forehead. His eyes were vacant, as if he had lost focus, but he stubbornly clenched his teeth, trying to maintain a last bit of clarity.

Chen Shuo slowly raised a hand, his slender fingers gently lifting the sniper's chin, forcing him to meet his gaze. His movements were impassive, revealing an irresistible calmness. He spoke in a low, calm voice, each word like an icy blade piercing the man's nerves: "What's your code name?"

The sniper desperately tried to lower his head, but Chen Shuo forced him to maintain eye contact. His throat rolled with difficulty, his lips slightly parted, as if struggling against the effects of the drug. His fists clenched weakly, veins popping on the backs of his hands, his nails digging deep into his palms, as if trying to buy back some clarity through the pain.

"Ka..." His voice was hoarse and broken, like a whisper squeezed out from the depths of his throat.

Chen Shuo stared at him quietly, his face expressionless, his body without any unnecessary movements, only that sharp gaze seemed to peel off the other party's last psychological defense line bit by bit.

"Calvados..." The sniper finally uttered a word, his voice as weak as a candle in the wind, but clearly audible. His body trembled slightly, as if even saying the name had exhausted all his willpower.

"Calvados?" Chen Shuo repeated, his tone flat, as if he was just casually mentioning an insignificant name.

The sniper's gaze gradually grew unfocused, his head drooping limply. His teeth remained clenched, but they could no longer resist the erosion of the drugs. His fingers trembled, and finally, powerlessly, they loosened, and he completely lost consciousness.

Ai Huibara stood aside, lowering her head in thought for a while, then slowly spoke: "I seem to have heard of this name... but I'm not familiar with it. However, since it's the name of a wine..."

Sonoko shrugged and took over the conversation, saying, "Then they must be from that organization. But what exactly do they want to do? Pointing guns at us?"

Mao Lilan frowned and looked at the sniper on the ground with complicated eyes: "Conan is exposed?"

Chen Shuo didn't say much. Instead, he took out his phone from his pocket, flipped through his contact list expressionlessly, and dialed a number directly: "I don't know what they want to do, but just ask."

A few seconds later, the call was connected, and a low, cold voice came from the other end: "Mr. Wuchen? What's the matter?"

Hearing this voice, Huibara Ai looked at Chen Shuo in shock. She was very familiar with this voice.

Chen Shuo raised a faint smile at the corner of his mouth, and said with a hint of nonchalantness: "Gin, come and wash the floor!"
