Chapter 113 Ancient Escape Room

"Another person who likes to set traps." Ivy pouted.

The man smiled and waved his staff. The air around him began to distort and a light gate appeared. He said, "Before you enter the next level, you must pass my test. The first question is very simple. There was an emperor in ancient times. His name was 'Guangming'. Which dynasty was he from?"

Lily frowned: "Emperor of Light? This is a bit difficult."

The man smiled and nodded: "Correct, you can go to the next level."

They walked through the light gate and found themselves in a huge room with all kinds of chessboards on the floor. The man stood in the middle of the room and continued, "This challenge is a chess duel. If you beat me, you can move on."

"Chess duel? I'm good at that!" Charlie walked forward excitedly.

At the beginning of the game, Charlie and the man started a fierce game on the chessboard. The man was a skilled chess player and pressed forward step by step, while Charlie gradually gained the upper hand with his flexible tactics. In the end, Charlie defeated the man with a brilliant move.

The man sighed and said, "You are very good. You win this time. Keep going."

They continued through another light gate and came to a huge circular hall. In the center of the hall was a huge clock tower, which was engraved with runes and strange patterns.

"Looks like this is the last level," Lily said.

The man reappeared, the scepter in his hand flashing with light: "The final test is the mystery of time. You need to solve the puzzle before the bells in the clock tower ring, otherwise you will be trapped here forever."
