Chapter 29 A Chance to Explain

On this day, Lin Yanan finished work early and carefully prepared a sumptuous dinner. She wore Ruan Jianan's favorite dress and put on light makeup. Lin Yanan continued, "That Wang Hao is really just a work partner. We eat together and discuss projects, all for the sake of getting the work done. I only have you in my heart, never anyone else." As she spoke, tears welled up in her eyes and her voice trembled slightly. "Every time I was with him, all I thought about was how to finish the work as quickly as possible so I could go home and see you earlier. But you misunderstood me, and I'm really sad."

Ruan Jianan's expression gradually eased. He reached out and held Lin Yanan's hand, his tone full of guilt: "Yanan, I actually figured it out later. I was too impulsive and didn't trust you enough. When I saw others say that you two were talking and laughing together, I lost my mind and didn't consider your feelings."

Lin Yanan burst into laughter: "Then you can't do this again in the future." Ruan Jianan nodded, his eyes firm: "No, it's my fault. I should have believed you. We have been through so much, how can I doubt our relationship because of such a small thing."

At this time, Lin Yanan blinked her eyes mischievously: "Then as a punishment, you have to eat all the dishes on this table." He picked up the chopsticks and started eating with big mouthfuls, praising Lin Yanan's cooking skills while eating.

After dinner, Ruan Jianan took the initiative to wash the dishes, while Lin Yanan leaned against the kitchen door and looked at him, her heart full of happiness. I know that I am impulsive and have wild thoughts sometimes, but that is because I care about you too much and I am afraid of losing you." Lin Yanan leaned in his arms and nodded gently: "I know, me too. In the future, when we encounter problems, we must calm down and listen to each other's explanations."
