Sharon Jenkins’ book, Authorpreneurship: Build a successful business as an Author , is a must read for anyone aspiring to master the art of writing, while at the same time learning what it takes to market and publish a book in today’s competitive landscape. You won’t be disappointed! – Cynthia O’Neal, TM3, LLC, Founder
I signed up to review this book because I was hoping it would be helpful and have something that would be applicable to my fledgling author career. It definitely didn't disappoint.
"Authorpreneurship" is a great resource for writers, whether traditionally published or self-pubbed, whether you write fiction or non-fiction.There are many books out there to teach you the creative aspect of writing, but not many that give good advice about how to both a writer and businessman (or woman.) This book does that and more. Each chapter gives you a new skill to work on, such as:
*Treating your writing like a job instead of a hobby
*Building a timeline for your writing career and writing projects
*Building a marketing plan for your book project
And the list goes on.
I recommend this book for writers who want to have a boost over their competition by learning to approach their writing with the logic of a businessperson as well as the unbridled passion of a writer.
